Join GPA New Jersey Chapter

To become a member of the NJ Chapter, you must first be a member of the National GPA organization. Scholarships may be available via the GPA Foundation which supports conferences and ongoing professional development and scholarships offered by various chapters. Membership in NJGPA is only $25, added to your National membership.

Benefits of Becoming a Member of the NJ Chapter

The NJ Chapter is home to an extraordinary group of male and female grant professionals working throughout the State of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Mingling with NJ Chapter members at meetings, conferences, and other events is sure to improve your skills in grantsmanship and grants management. As members, we often share common challenges and solutions with one another!

In addition to being a chance to network and build your personal and professional network, bi-monthly membership meetings and our online social community provide an opportunity to discuss issues relevant to grantsmanship and nonprofit development as a whole, topics related to chapter activities, and challenges associated with the work you do every day. We also host the annual GPA Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference, widely acknowledged as one of the best professional development events in the Northeast for grant writers.

Mentorship

A few items have changed from when the video was first recorded; 1) GPA National has more than 10 mentors ready for a mentee, and 2) A mentee will first make contact with potential mentor.

Our Members

Our members are well represented in the fields of education, government, non-profit development, and consulting. A growing number of our members hold the GPC (Grant Professional Certified) designation.

We’re not a shy bunch, nor are we afraid to share what we know with others, so jump right in. You are always welcome, and you won’t regret it. Hope to see you at our next meeting!

Get in the Grant Zone

Your GPA membership provides you with access to GrantZone – a place to participate in discussions,
ask questions of other GPA members, and share resources.
Each NJ Chapter member is automatically a member of the New Jersey Chapter Community. You can
join other communities, like Grant Consultants, K-12 Education, Healthcare, and many more.
It’s a fantastic resource and easy to use. You can access GrantZone from the GPA website, or go directly hereand enter your GPA username and password. Members can control the frequency of
messages they receive (real time, daily digest, no email). If you aren’t seeing any messages, check
your settings as well as your spam folder.
